VIEW LABEL DIRECTIONS	Searles Spredmax Spreader Wetting Agent A NON-IONIC WETTER FOR USE WITH PESTICIDE, FUNGICIDE AND HERBICIDE SPRAYS IN THE HOME GARDEN Searles Spredmax® is a concentrated spreader wetting agent used to maximise spray application, wetting and sticking and to improve the overall effectiveness of application. Searles Spredmax® is ideal for adding to prepared solutions of fungicides, pesticides and herbicides. It may also be used to improve foliar applications of soluble and liquid fertilisers. Searles Spredmax® helps improve the spray solution ability to stick to leaves, which is important for plants with waxy leaves, or those that are hard to wet. This is particularly important for grasses and weeds. Most herbicides kill weeds via direct leaf contact and Searles Spredmax® maxmises spray contact by preventing spray droplets from beading on the leaf surface, increasing droplet contact area thus improving spray efficiency and saving cost. Searles® Ant Kill-50 Granules are a cost-effective method of control for a broad range of different ants in home gardens and lawns. Ants can create many problems in home gardens including building mounds in lawn areas, creating dry impenetrable soil, spreading other pest activity such as scale and aphids and sometimes very painful bites. By controlling ant activity, the incidence of these problems can be greatly reduced. Where there are other related pest activity, such as scale or aphids, these may also need to be controlled in conjunction with the ants. HOW TO USE For lawns sprinkle 20g per 10 square metres across treated area. For outdoor areas including gardens sprinkle product lightly around nests and trails and other areas where ants are active. Searles® Lawn Grub Killer is a cost-effective broad-spectrum insecticide that is used to control lawn armyworm, African black beetle and a variety of other grubs & beetles in lawn and garden situations. Lawn grubs, grass caterpillars and the larvae of lawn beetles can cause devastating problems in the lawn by eating both the grass and grass roots. The damage can very quickly be noticed by patches of grass or lawn suddenly dying. The dead grass is easily lifted off the soil in clumps as the roots have been severed. Lawn armyworm attacks leaves, stems and seedheads. Their name relates to the fact that they quite often occur in large proportions and quickly devour the grass before moving on to new grass areas. Most lawn grub activity occurs in late spring through summer to autumn. Adult lawn beetles become active in spring, which is when they start mating and laying eggs. HOW TO USE For lawn beetles sprinkle 20g per 10 square metres evenly across area to be treated. For lawn grubs sprinkle 40g per 10 square metres over area. Treat whenever pests are active. Qld Blue Couch grass is a premium couch lawn seed, which is ideally suited for most areas throughout Queensland and New South Wales. Qld Blue Couch, when mature, exhibits a magnificent deep blue/green colour. Qld Blue Couch is hardy, robust and will grow from full sun to semi shade (approximately 30-40% shade). One of the best qualities about this couch seed is its ability to tolerate arid and infertile areas. Like most types of couch, Qld Blue Couch will be affected by frosts but will come back strongly. Avoid sowing during winter months as Qld Blue Couch is a warm climate grass and needs higher temperatures to germinate properly.

	Searles Carpet Grass Lawn Seed • Suitable for semi shaded areas. • Suitable for wet areas. • Ideal for infertile soils. • Very hardy. • Lawn establishment. • Best adapted to humid subtropical conditions. • Drought tolerant. • Best sown spring/summer. • Rainfall range 500mm - 1500mm per year. • Sowing rate: 0.5 - 1.5kg/100m2 for lawns, 3 - 10kg/ha for pastures. • Available sizes: 400g, 750g &5kg. This species of carpet grass has broad, bright green leaves. It favours sandy or light textured soils of low fertility. Carpet grass is an ideal grass for tropical and subtropical lawns. Carpet grass is able to tolerate poor, wet and sandy soils. Carpet grass will tolerate excessive shade and is suitable for high traffic areas. This grass is also useful in assisting the suppression of certain weeds. Carpet grass will tolerate dry conditions but not being subjected to frost on very cold nights. The best time to plant carpet grass is from mid-spring through to early autumn (during the warmer months). In north Queensland this grass can be sown for most of the year. Carpet grass is not suitable for cool temperate climates. Carpet grass is suitable for most coastal areas from the tropics south to approximately Coffs Harbour.

	Searles Quick Couch Lawn Seed • Drought tolerant. • Ideal for infertile soils. • Rich green colour. • Very hardy. • Establishes quickly. • Aggressive summer grower. • Best sown spring/summer. • Rainfall range 500mm - 1400mm per year. • Sowing rate: 0.5 - 1kg/100m2 for lawns, 4 - 6kg/ha for pastures. • Hulled for faster germination. • Available sizes: 400g, 750g & 5kg. Couch grass is an aggressive grower, particularly in the warmer months, which rapidly colonises bare ground to form a dense mat of fine pointed leaves. Couch grass is used for soil stabilisation and erosion control, and is one of the best and hardiest turf species. It becomes dormant during the colder months and may be frosted at low temperatures. Couch grass is able to tolerate both humid sub-tropical conditions and semi arid conditions. This makes couch an ideal grass seed for lawn establishment. Couch is very hardy and is able to take household traffic. It is also very effective as erosion control or slope stability. Couch actively grows in warmer months but becomes dormant in cooler months. Couch may be frosted at very low temperatures. Re-growth in spring is rapid. Couch is a fine seed and must be spread carefully and may take up to two weeks to germinate. It is recommended to sow Quick Couch seeds during the warmer months from spring through summer and not during winter.
